Certificate Attestation / Apostille – Malaysia

Malaysia is located in the Tropics as one of the megadiverse countries. It has a newly industrialized market and an emerging economy in the world. Kuala Lumpur is the national capital and the global city of the country. When planning to move abroad for any specific purpose, you should get your documents duly attested in Malaysia. Getting your documents attested without expert help and support can take some time. Therefore, BVS Global provides its specialized solutions that are tailored to meet your requirements right from the preparation of documents to their final attestation by the Embassy officials.

The Process of Attestation in Malaysia:

The process of authentication and legalization in Malaysia requires applicants to obtain certifications at different levels of government departments. In some cases, the Embassy officials can also ask for additional formalities to be completed by the applicants. You need to submit the original copies of the documents along with other required paperwork as demanded by the officials. Generally, the process of attestation includes the following steps:

  • You should get the documents legally translated if so required by the Embassy.
  • You should obtain state certifications or notarization in Malaysia.
  • You should apply for the attestation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Malaysia.
  • In the last step, obtaining attestation from the Embassy or the Consulate office in Malaysia.

Why You Need It

When a document is attested, it eliminates all worries regarding the genuineness of the documentation and eases the process of your international endeavor. Such authentication is a legal necessity for all cross-border undertakings involving personal or career-related advancements:

  • Embassies or consulates for visa or passport issuance
  • Immigration office in case of visa application, emigration request or work status change etc.
  • World education services (WES) and International qualifications assessment (IQAS) verification
  • Equivalency requirements for Ministry of Education (MOE) or Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR)
