Certificate Attestation / Apostille – Mexico

Mexico is a federal republic in the North America. It is the most populous Spanish-speaking state in the world with a high purchasing power parity. This newly industrialized country is a regional power and a megadiverse nation. Mexico City is the capital and the cultural epicenter of Mexico. Those looking to move abroad for tourism, work, or education should get their documents apostilled. For streamlined apostille or attestation process, you can count on us. BVS Global has a successful track record of completing attestation and Apostille for thousands of clients within the stipulated timelines.

The Process of Apostille/Attestation in Mexico:

As a member of the Apostille Convention, there is a standard procedure of attestation followed by the applicants submitting their documents. They need an Apostille which is a certificate that validates the authenticity of public documents issued in the home country. To obtain this certificate, you need to follow a detailed legal procedure that entails certifications from government departments or ministries in both the countries. Usually, the process of Apostille or attestation includes the following steps:

  • You should obtain certifications from state-level authorities or ministries for government documents and notary attestation for non-government documents in Mexico.
  • Get attestation or apostille from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the process of legalization in Mexico.
  • Obtain attestation from the Embassy or Consulate office in Mexico.

 Why You Need It

When a document is attested, it eliminates all worries regarding the genuineness of the documentation and eases the process of your international endeavor. Such authentication is a legal necessity for all cross-border undertakings involving personal or career-related advancements:

  • Embassies or consulates for visa or passport issuance
  • Immigration office in case of visa application, emigration request or work status change etc.
  • World education services (WES) and International qualifications assessment (IQAS) verification
  • Equivalency requirements for Ministry of Education (MOE) or Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR)
