Certificate Attestation / Apostille – Pakistan

Pakistan is an ethnically diverse country in the South Asia. It is the fifth most populous state with agriculture as the mainstay of economy. Islamabad is the capital of Pakistan and its political epicenter as well. Those people who are looking to move out of this country for work, business, tourism, or education should get their documents properly legalized and attested. BVS Global strives to manage this process efficiently with our profound knowledge and experience in this domain. We are the certified service provider offering specialized attestation services in over 100 countries including Pakistan.

The Process of Attestation in Pakistan:

The process of attestation of foreign public documents in countries that haven’t joined Hague Convention involves several additional steps. There are various levels of certifications that you need to obtain from the different government departments and ministries. This process usually depends on the type of documents to be attested and the reason of attestation stated by you in the declaration form. Accordingly, you need to complete the legal formalities as specified by the Embassy officials in both the countries. Typically, the steps involved in this process are:

  • A legal translation if it is necessary.
  • State certification or notarization as required by the destination country in Pakistan.
  • Attestation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Pakistan.
  • Attestation from the Embassy or Consulate depending on the jurisdiction of your documents in Pakistan.

Why You Need It

When a document is attested, it eliminates all worries regarding the genuineness of the documentation and eases the process of your international endeavor. Such authentication is a legal necessity for all cross-border undertakings involving personal or career-related advancements:

  • Embassies or consulates for visa or passport issuance
  • Immigration office in case of visa application, emigration request or work status change etc.
  • World education services (WES) and International qualifications assessment (IQAS) verification
  • Equivalency requirements for Ministry of Education (MOE) or Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR)
